Most of us can say, slavery was a terrible thing, with saying that we can also agree that we were raised with high moral, moral to treat others as equals. Slavery was an awful thing to have done to somebody, i was raised to believe that. Back then when it was considered "okay" to have a slave in your home doing your work, etc., thats what all the children were raised to think and do. The actions their mother or father did was observed by their kids, so they followed in there foot steps. I'm not saying that slavery was or is the right thing to do, its wrong, but we have to view from their point of view as well as our own, and choose the right actions for ourselves and do what is right, today in the present.
